Within the product line of “Advanced Woundcare”, TAUREON is well-known as the manufacturer of both HoneySoft®, a honey impregnated dressing, and SurfaSoft®, skin graft fixation material. With regard to the excellent properties of HoneySoft®, we have been able to gain a position as market leader. Our product portfolio also encompasses well established products as Coldex® and Elasto-Gel™ .
Within our “Surgical Specialties” product line TAUREON is mainly known as the manufacturer of Novacol®, a collagen haemostat. This resorbable fibre collagen offers a cost-effective solution for every surgical specialist in cases where a fast and effective haemostasis is required. Novacol® is available as a pad (several sizes) and as fibrillar. A second essential part of TAUREON’s portfolio are the Tutogen biomaterials, licensed specifically for the Dutch market. This product line holds great value for all surgeons, ranging from cartilage and auditory ossicles for ENT-surgeons to bone for orthopaedic surgeons and hernia meshes for general surgeons.
